SVA Survey Vessels

Support Vessels of Alaska, Inc. (SVA) offers safely operated vessels for hydrographic surveys, geophysical surveys, cable and pipeline route surveys, and hazard site surveys.

SVA has conducted oceanographic surveys throughout Alaskan waters to include the Chukchi Sea, Bering Sea, Aleutian Islands, Gulf of Alaska, Cook Inlet, S.E. Alaskan waters as well as Washington State and Canadian waters.

Many of our projects have taken place in some of the most hazardous marine waters of Alaska with extreme tidal currents, shallow shoaling and rocky uncharted areas.

Our crews are dedicated to assisting your staff in completing your project in a safe and efficient manner. They are experienced in deploying and towing different hydrographic and geophysical survey equipment such as multibeam echosounders, side-scan sonar, streamers, air guns, sub bottom profilers (chirp, boomer, pinger), ADCP’s, autonomous survey vessels (ASV), underway ctd/sv profiling systems, and other deployable equipment for your oceanographic survey.

SVA’s survey vessels vary in size and can accommodate your project whether it is a short one day survey or a full season remote area endeavor, summer or winter. Contact us and let us know your needs.
